Frames Made in Los Angeles
Your art never leaves our studio and we don’t outsource our custom framing work to a third party shop, or a fulfillment center 1000 miles away. We’re happy to service our local neighborhood of Beverlywood and nearby Culver City, as well as the greater Los Angeles area, including but not limited to Santa Monica, West Adams, and Silverlake. We oversee every step of the process, which means that your art is safe, and the fit and finish of your new frame is top notch.
fine art mounting & frame fitting
Your art is always in our care. All art handling, mounting, mat and substrate cutting, and final assembly is completed on site in our West Los Angeles studio by our small team of dedicated artists.
Our custom frames
We are very proud of our selection of frames made in house, including gallery hardwood frames finished with corner splines. Our hardwoods are from ethically and domestically sourced maple, walnut, cherry, oak, and ash.
Additionally, we have a curated selection of over 1000 prefinished frame mouldings that we chop, miter sand, and join using the strongest, most precise dovetail joinery technique in the industry. We also partner with a handful of artisan frame makers that specialize in specific finishes, hand-carving techniques, metal welding, or unique wood joinery.
design possibilities
Because the person designing your framing project is also involved in the completion of your project, really fun things are possible. There’s no disconnect between the design and execution. Our unique in house designs are one of a kind, centered around our philosophy of not only housing and protecting, but also enhancing your art.
